Good Enough · 5-week online journey

You carry everything.
It's time to put some of it down.

Good Enough is a 5-week online art therapy journey for parents who feel stretched thin by the mental load and the guilt that comes with it. At home, at your own pace, one creative exercise a week.

You're the one who remembers the dentist appointment, the school form, the birthday present, the spare uniform. You're the one lying awake at night, running tomorrow's list.

And somehow, after all of that, it still doesn't feel like enough.

Guilty when you workGuilty when you don'tGuilty when you lose your patienceGuilty when you take an hour for yourself

If this sounds familiar, you are not failing. You are carrying too much, and often alone. And when you're raising a family far from home, without grandparents nearby or the friends who knew you before, the load gets heavier still.

This journey isn't about doing more, or doing it better. It's about finally putting some of it down.

What is Good Enough?

A guided journey you follow from home, whenever it suits you. Each Monday you receive one art therapy exercise and a few gentle questions to help you go deeper.

No live sessions to squeeze into your calendar. Just a few simple materials, about 45 minutes a week, and a space that is finally yours.

The name comes from pediatrician and psychoanalyst Donald Winnicott, who showed that children don't need perfect parents. They need good enough ones.

Why art?

When your mind is full, words often aren't enough. Putting what you carry onto paper, with shapes and colors, helps your brain let go of what it's been holding on to. Research has even shown that 45 minutes of art-making can lower cortisol, the stress hormone, whatever your level of skill.

And there's no eraser in this journey. Whatever lands on the page is welcome: what looks like a mistake often becomes the most meaningful part.

Questions

Frequently asked

Do I need to be good at art?

Not at all. This journey is about the process, not the result. Simple shapes and colors are more than enough.

How much time will it take?

About 45 minutes a week, plus a few optional minutes in the evening if you'd like.

When can I start?

Any Monday. You choose your start date when you sign up, and your first exercise arrives that Monday.

What if I fall behind?

That's completely fine. In the guided journey, you have 8 weeks to complete the 5 weeks. In the self-guided journey, you go entirely at your own pace.

What materials do I need?

Paper, colored pencils or felt pens, scissors, glue, an envelope. Most of it is probably already at home. You'll receive the full list as soon as you sign up.

Can dads join?

Of course. Good Enough is for every parent who feels the weight of the mental load.

Can I receive my feedback in French?

Yes. The journey is available in English and French, and feedback can be given in either language.

Is this therapy?

Good Enough is a self-guided art therapy journey for wellbeing and self-reflection. It isn't a medical or psychological treatment, and it doesn't replace individual therapy.

Can I get a refund?

As your journey begins as soon as you sign up, all purchases are final and non-refundable. If life gets busy, there's no need to worry: in the guided journey you have 8 weeks to complete the 5 weeks, and the self-guided journey has no time limit. If, after reading your welcome questionnaire, we feel together that the journey isn't right for you at this moment, your payment can be converted into an individual session with me.

Ready to put some of it down?

You don't need to be a perfect parent. You just need a little space to breathe.
